Locations
Your house or apartment? A local school or science museum? Some cool outdoor spot?
How about a band?
Know a good local band? Maybe they'd be interested in doing a benefit concert? (We'll feature music from any band that raises money at a party on our MySpace page music player. Got some video of the event? Post it.)
Publicity
Parties and concerts are a great way to get coverage in local media -- reach out to local papers, radio, and TV stations. (Before and after the event).
Also, If you're planning or if you've been to any great parties or concerts, post here -- if the event is upcoming, just post an announcement and we'll put it into the GR site news page.
How'd it go?
Tell us how it went, and post some video (post the video to youtube and the link here, it's easy). If you raised any money, you can send it in via our donations page, but be sure to drop us a line (community a/t gridrepublic dot org) so we can post the news.
