Re: Lost my facebook created account e-mail and pass  Help  Gridrepublic.org 12/17/09 06:25 pm

I have only one FB account, I removed PTP then readded it using my GR account credentials. I thought that this would transfer over the work completed on my computer to my new account, then I was going to add a few more computers using my GR account (I thought work completed was associated with the computer, and would transfer if that same PC linked to a new account). Now I realize that I could have edited the autogenerated credentials account. Or, I could have logged into FB from the other computers I wanted to put PTP on.

My problem is simply that I can't add the other PCs to the same account now that the credentials are lost. I just wanted all 3-4 PCs on the same account.

I'll just let the first computer continue to use the old FB (auto generated) account even though I lost the credentials, and have the new PCs run on the new GR account.

Lost my facebook created account e-mail and pass  Help  Gridrepublic.org 12/15/09 06:18 pm

I originally created my PTP account through facebook and was assigned one of those gr####@gridrepublic.org e-mail address and random password accounts. I recently used Matt's protocol found half way down the following page:

http://www.gridrepublic.org/joomla/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=197.msg0

to try to link my PTP desktop to my newly created Gridrepublic account. Problem is, I can't access the old facebook login credentials, so I can't pull the credits I had with my old account over to the new one (have 38715 WU completed).

Is there a way to retrieve my old facebook login credentials (knowing my account # and computer ID)? I am pretty sure I needmy old facebook credentialsso that I can use the old account and simply change the login info to manage the account (so I can add more PCs).

Any help would be appreciated.
