Can't find gpugrid in the project list. Any chance of it being added in the next update of projects? Seems to me this is one of the really good GPU projects.

Paal, GPUGrid I believe is planned for the next update.  We probably did not add it last time most likely due to the client that we were distributing and the default BOINC client did not support the GPU's.  Now that there is a standard client which supports GPU's you should see it and a new GridRepublic client if you use it.

GPUgrid was formerly known as PS3grid, which we do list.  As Spark reports, we'll add GPUgrid under its new branding as part of our next update to the project list.  But note that participation in this project requires -- as Spark also points out -- an updated desktop application, one which support GPU based computing.  The latest Boinc client supports this now, and when the next version of GridRepublic Desktop is released it will also.

Having said this, we're waiting on the next GR release till this new functionality has a few more of the wrinkles ironed out.  This reflects a general approach, where GR Desktop will tend to lag the latest Boinc release, as our goal is to focus on reliability and ease-of-use over bleeding edge features.  (Of course, you can always use the latest Boinc client with GridRepublic, so hopefully you'll see this is a best-of-both-worlds proposition.)

What's the latest on this? I came to add GPUGrid today but it's still not listed.

Some information on GridRepublic and updates is talked about in the "Is GridRepublic Dead" post.

See the November 17th post by Matt.
