Could I stop download work?

Could I stop download work?

Hi,

I'll format my computer soon, but I want that my computer to finish all the work that currently has downloaded.

Is there a way to block downloads for BOINC but letting it to upload the finished work?

Thanks a lot, and sorry for my English.

Yes, you can pause new downloads and let the current work complete.

You will have to be in the "Advanced View" to be able to stop getting new work. If you are in the simple view go to the bottom right and there is a link to open the advanced view.

Once in the Advanced view select or make sure you are in the Projects tab.  You should see the project name, resource share, and status among other columns titles.

Select your projects and on the left side you should see a button for No new tasks.  This will allow you to finish your current work and not download any new.  The staus collum should display "Won't get any new tasks" for each project.

To return to the simple view if you were there open the View category and select simple view or control +shift + V as a shortcut.

Thanks a lot! I was trying to do that from the Options and Preferences of BOINC Manager.
