Upgraded Server Not Showing Up

Upgraded Server Not Showing Up

So I have a server that I've named Corellia, it's motherboard was failing so I upgraded the server to new hardware.  But kept the same name for the server so as not to have to touch all desktops for the shares, etc.

Grid Republic was reinstalled and happily running.  However the web site shows the Corellia computer as my old hardware and not the spiffy new i7.

Should I just give this some time, or is something not going right?  Is this something I need to log on to Rosetta and SETI to change?

The unique identifier for an account is email, not user name or computer name -- I wonder, did you retain the same email when you signed up the new machine?

I did.  I have everything stored in Keepass to be sure. Smiley

But I checked with each project and they see the new computer spec and it happily crunching away.  Just GridRepublic sees the server as my old hardware.  I can't tell if Gridrepublic is seeing my new data that I've turned in or not.

Maybe this is a case of Heisenberg's uncertainty principle at work, but I checked your records and they have changed to show the new i7. You were looking at the Specs tab on the Computers page?

Something like this will usually be fixed with the "Refresh" button. If you're on your account home page, just select the Computers tab underneath the chart  and you will see it. That synchronizes GridRepublic data with what is at the project servers, which is probably all that was needed.

Thanks... and FYI for future readers -- logging out and the logging back in will do the same thing as the refresh button.
